Our Sustainable Choices

Black Series Auto to phase out plastic and harmful materials used for packaging

As part of Black Series Auto's commitment to improving our planet, the company has worked towards eliminating plastics and harmful products from our packaging. This includes eliminating bubble wrap, plastic straps, masking tape, and styrofoam. We have replaced them with recyclable materials that are stronger and eco-friendly. We are truly proud to be the first in the pickup truck industry to tackle such a feat.

Honeycomb Cartons

Our hard covers are now packaged in 1-inch thick honeycomb cartons. The honeycomb formations form a rigid but lightweight protection for our products, making it easier to handle.

Kraft Paper Wrap

We replaced our polyethylene bubble wrap with a wrap made of recycled Kraft Paper. This material is made from 30% post-consumer waste and is fully recyclable and biodegradable.

Water Activated Tape

W.A.T. creates a strong, tamper resistant seal that protects your order. It’s both recyclable and biodegradable.

Reducing Use of Harmful Materials

We have reduced our use of polypropylene straps that were previously used to wrap around our boxes. We’ve also reduced our use of styrofoam, previously used as pads in the boxes around our covers. These packaging components are no longer needed with the use of our stronger packaging.
